Meet Mrs. Strickland
Hi ! My name is Barbara Strickland. I have taught in Henry County for 19 years . I earned a BS degree in Early childhood/Elementary Ed. from Millersville University in Pennsylvania and a Master's degree in Elementary Ed. from Waldon University. I was Teacher of the Year 2009-2010 at McDonough Elementary. I was born and raised in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania. I moved to Georgia in 1993. I am the proud Mom of a son Zac and a daughter Katie. I am married to Alan Strickland. I enjoy doing DIY projects around my house, shopping, Braves games ( sometimes I will still cheer for the Phillies), going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.
